Your Sensor has a battery capacity for seven days (based on 1.5 hours a day). It will take 90 minutes for a full charge, and a 10-minute charge will give you an hour of battery. When you’re not working out, your Sensor sleeps to save battery life.

The LED on the front of the Sensor will flash red when it requires charging, you can also view the battery percentage within the Prevayl app.

Remember to always remove your Sensor from the garment after use and especially before machine washing.

While the Sensor is not being charged, Prevayl provide a USB-C cover to help reduce the build-up of dirt and debris and reduce exposing the contact to moisture. However, over time dirt, debris and moisture could build up. Please check the USB-C and carry out the following maintenance to keep the Sensor’s charger in top condition.

If possible, blow compressed air (do not blow into the port as saliva may enter as a result) into the USB-C to remove most of the dirt, debris, and moisture for 1 to 2-second bursts.

Wrap a small bit of cotton around a toothpick. Drag the cotton-lined toothpick along the inner wall of the port. If there is a lot of “gunk” dampen the cotton with a very small amount of rubbing alcohol (not water) and repeat the process. Be careful as you don’t want to introduce any liquids into the port.

Once again blow compressed air if possible. If not, please allow it to air dry.

An ECG (electrocardiography) is a test that’s used to check your heart's rhythm and electrical activity. ECG sensors measure the bio-potential generated by electrical signals that control the expansion and contraction of heart chambers. 1. Connecting to the Prevayl App is simple. Once you’ve downloaded the App and input your details, select “Tap to pair”.

2. Move the Sensor around the back and top of your phone until your device vibrates, this means your phone has detected the Sensor.

3. On an iPhone, the connection point is normally on the top edge of the phone, whereas on an Android phone you will find the connection point on the back, near the camera.

4. A PIN code will appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen. When prompted, enter the code into the text box.

If ordered before 2pm on a weekday, your strap will be delivered on the next working day (UK).

Once dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number via email where you’ll be able to track and update delivery details for your parcel.  

We recommend handwashing your Prevayl strap. However, if necessary, your strap can be washed in the washing machine following these instructions:

• Remove your Sensor from the pocket from the chest strap
• Wash your chest strap at 30° and with similar colours
• Do NOT tumble-dry, dry-clean, bleach, iron or use fabric softener

Please be sure to remove the Sensor from the chest strap after reach session, as the battery will continue to drain if the Sensor stays connected to the conductive pads even when not it’s not actively in use.
